Welcome to the Church of England in Dudley, West Midlands. We are part of the Diocese of Worcester and proudly made up of five churches which gather to worship God, hear the Bible, pray, and celebrate being Christians.
If you'd like to come along to any of our services, events, or you simply require information to organise a baptism, wedding or funeral, use the tabs above and contact us at the Parish Office.
We look forward to meeting you!
CORONA VIRUS ANNOUNCEMENT Following a statement from the Church of England on 17th March, all public worship is now temporarily suspended. This simply means that for the time being our worship services will not be held until further notice. Other weekly gatherings and church activities are also suspended until further notice.
Our Archbishops have offered the following words; “Being a part of the Church of England is going to look very different in the days ahead. Our life is going to be less characterised by attendance at church on Sunday, and more characterised by the prayer and service we offer each day. We may not be able to pray with people in the ways that we are used to, but we can certainly pray for people. And we can certainly offer practical care and support. Then by our service, and by our love, Jesus Christ will be made known, and the hope of the gospel – a hope that will counter fear and isolation - will spread across our land”.
So, can we encourage you to keep praying and worshipping at home. We are looking for ways in which we can offer resources to help you to do this and will be in touch shortly. Also, please look for opportunities to reach out to those around you. Please remember, if any of you require any support yourself please do contact us. And please let us know if you or anyone you have had physical contact with has contracted the virus or is displaying symptoms.
As the Dudley team of churches, we have registered with Dudley CVS so that we can be part of the wider network in supporting our town at this challenging time.
Let’s hold one another, and our communities, in our ongoing thoughts and prayers.
