Services on Sunday: at 11.00 am. Usually a service of Holy Communion and occasional services of Morning Prayer. Baptism (christening) take place by arrangement with Clergy. Children are always welcome at our services; there is activity space for them towards the rear of the main room. The church has disabled access & facilities. Other Activities: There is a midweek Communion service on Wednesdays at 10.00am with refreshments afterwards. Mothers' Union meets monthly - often with a course of study. During the course of the year St Francis holds social activities - Barn Dances, Skittles Nights, Fairs, Coffee Mornings. St Francis' Parish Centre: Located next to the church, the Parish Centre is available to the wider community with many groups using the premises during the week. On weekdays there is a community café - with a constantly changing menu of affordable meals - open to all. Prior bookings are also taken for a monthly lunch club - inquire at the Centre. Duncan Edwards: St Francis' has a much visited window commemorating the former Manchester United footballer who grew up locally. Access via the café during opening hours or by arrangement.
